Overview
Embark on a journey of mystery and marvel with our Bicycle Hidden Gem Angkor & Largest Reservoir tour—a masterfully designed 3-day cycling expedition that prioritizes exploration over commercial tourism. While millions flock to the main temples, this tour invites you to pedal into the "unseen" Angkor. We focus on the monumental engineering feats of the Khmer Empire, specifically the West Baray, the largest man-made reservoir of the ancient world, and the hidden gems tucked away in the dense Cambodian jungle. This is a tour for the soul-searcher, the photographer, and the avid cyclist who craves authenticity.
Over three days, you will traverse a landscape where history and nature are inextricably linked. You will navigate hidden jungle single-tracks, ride along the high embankments of ancient waterways, and immerse yourself in the superb countryside of Siem Reap. From the haunting beauty of remote ruins reclaimed by the forest to the vibrant life of rural farming communities, this tour offers a panoramic view of Cambodia’s past and present. Led by our expert local guides—who are as passionate about history as they are about cycling—you will discover why the "hidden" parts of Angkor are often the most unforgettable.

Cycling from Phnom Penh to Kep was an absolute highlight of my trip to Cambodia! Golden Cycling Tours provided top-quality bikes and an excellent guide who shared insights about Cambodia’s history and culture along the way. The scenic coastal views, the fresh seafood stops, and the relaxed pace made this tour perfect for enjoying Cambodia’s natural beauty. I loved how the tour was structured, with plenty of opportunities to rest and take in the surroundings. I would definitely join another tour with them!
