Tour Plan
Start your Sapa Bike Ride Half Day adventure with a departure at approximately 8:30 AM or 1:30 PM from your hotel in Sapa town. The ride kicks off by heading uphill along national road 4D towards the Silver Waterfall, a natural wonder that will leave you in awe. Take a moment to appreciate the surroundings, as you ascend the steps to higher elevation and witness the impressive sight of the walled-up mountains covered in lush rainforest, complemented by the terraced paddies that dot the deep valley.
Continuing the bike ride, you’ll travel a few more kilometers as you steadily climb towards the renowned Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass. Situated at an impressive 2,684 meters above sea level, the Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass proudly claim the title of the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. Take a pause here to revel in the breathtaking scenery that unfolds on both sides of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.
Leaving the Heaven Gate behind, your journey takes a downhill route for approximately 7 kilometers before making a stop at the lush farms of O Quy Ho. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit vibrant farms where an array of vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, and even medicinal plants have thrived for years, contributing to the everlasting greenery of this part of Sapa.
The bike ride concludes back in Sapa town at your hotel, marking the completion of the Sapa Bike Ride Half Day experience. Reflect on the incredible sights and memories you’ve gathered throughout this captivating journey.
One of the best cycling tours I’ve done! The Sapa countryside is absolutely stunning, and cycling through it was an incredible experience. The guide from Golden Cycling Tours was fantastic, and the bikes were in perfect condition. Highly recommended!
