Overview
The Phnom Penh to Kep & Kampot Cycling Tour - 2 Days is the ultimate getaway for those who want to swap the urban jungle for the salt-kissed breeze of the Gulf of Thailand. This masterfully designed 2-day expedition takes you through the heart of Southern Cambodia’s rural charm, culminating in the historic French colonial coastal retreats of Kep and Kampot.
Your journey begins as we leave the bustle of Phnom Penh behind, pedaling into the scenic province of Takeo. The 95km ride on Day 1 is a rewarding challenge that takes you through a landscape of emerald rice paddies and traditional villages, leading you toward the limestone karsts of Kampong Trach. The reward for your endurance is the serene coastline of Kep, once the most prestigious beach resort in Cambodia during the colonial era, now famous for its breathtaking sunsets and world-renowned Crab Market.
On the second day, we explore the atmospheric town of Kampot, famous for its high-quality pepper and salt fields. Cycling through this region is a sensory delight—the scent of the sea mixes with the earthy aroma of the plantations. From the crumbling colonial architecture of Kampot town to the rustic beauty of the salt marshes, this tour offers a profound connection to the landscape.
