Overview

The 27-Day Luang Prabang to Saigon Cycling Odyssey is a monumental expedition that traverses the very soul of the Indochinese peninsula. This isn't just a bicycle tour; it is a profound journey of discovery that connects the spiritual, golden-domed heritage of Luang Prabang with the high-octane energy of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Over nearly a month, you will pedal through a kaleidoscopic array of landscapes—from the jagged limestone karsts of Vang Vieng and the sleepy Mekong riverside of Thakhek to the hauntingly beautiful mountains of the Hoang Son Range and the turquoise waters of the South China Sea.

Your adventure begins in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, where we warm up amidst ancient pagodas and saffron-clad monks. As we head south through Central Laos, the terrain challenges and rewards us with remote river valleys and the unique, wind-swept landscapes of the Nakai Plateau. We cross into Vietnam via the Lao Bao border, immediately immersing ourselves in the legendary history of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Cycling through Khe Sanh and A Luoi, you will experience the rugged grandeur of the mountains before descending into the imperial grace of Hue.

The final leg of the tour is a spectacular celebration of Vietnam’s diverse beauty. You will conquer the world-famous Hai Van Pass, wander the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An, and follow the rhythmic waves along the coast to Quy Nhon and Nha Trang. The challenge reaches its peak with the climb to the "City of Eternal Spring," Diat, before an exhilarating descent to the red sand dunes of Mui Ne. The journey culminates in Saigon, leaving you with the immense pride of having traversed two nations and over 1,500 kilometers of the most beautiful terrain on Earth.
