Overview
THE GRAND SOUTHERN PASSAGE – FROM VOLCANIC HIGHLANDS TO THE MIGHTY MEKONG
Are you ready for an expedition that captures the very soul of Indochina? Our 6-Day Pakse Cycling to Cambodia Border tour is a masterfully designed route that offers a breathtaking transition through the diverse ecosystems of Southern Laos. This journey is a symphony of sensory experiences: the scent of roasting coffee on the volcanic soils of the Bolaven Plateau, the roar of colossal waterfalls hidden in primary jungles, and the serene, timeless rhythm of life on the 4,000 Islands.
We begin our odyssey in the gateway city of Pakse, immediately ascending into the refreshing highlands. You will witness the sheer power of Tad Fane, the highest twin-waterfalls in Laos, and find tranquility in the emerald pools of Tad Lo. As we descend back toward the Mekong Valley, history comes alive at the UNESCO-listed Wat Phou, an ancient Khmer sanctuary that whispers tales of a forgotten empire. The final leg of our journey takes us into the "Si Phan Don" archipelago, where the Mekong River shatters into a thousand rainbows at the Khone Phapheng Falls.
This is more than a cycling tour; it is a physical and spiritual bridge connecting the rugged highlands of Laos with the tropical plains of Northern Cambodia. Guided by local experts and supported by a dedicated professional team, you will conquer challenging climbs, enjoy high-speed descents, and celebrate your achievement as you cross into Cambodia.

Tour Plan
Into the Coffee Empire: Our journey begins at 8:00 AM as we depart Pakse. The first 8km offers a gentle warm-up on flat city roads before the terrain begins to tilt upward. We are entering the Bolaven Plateau, a temperate volcanic highland renowned for producing world-class coffee.
As you pedal, the air turns crisp and the scenery transforms into an endless sea of Arabica and Robusta plantations. The road undulates with a steady, rewarding incline. Our destination is the Tad Fane Resort, perched on the edge of a colossal gorge. Here, you will witness the stunning Tad Fane twin falls plunging 120 meters into the jungle below. If you still have energy, a short ride to a neighboring waterfall offers a refreshing swim before a gourmet dinner overlooking the misty canyon.
