Tour Plan
The tour will start at 08:30 am when our guide meets you at your hotel in Hanoi. From there, you can either take a walk or a taxi to our garage, where we’ll give you a bike test and a short briefing on how to use the electric-assisted bike.
Once everyone is comfortable with the e-bikes, we’ll start cycling from the garage and cross the Long Bien Bridge. The electric-assist function will come in handy as we keep cycling through small alleys to the bank of the Duong River. Once we’re in the Hanoi countryside, you’ll see many traditional houses, pagodas, temples, local markets, rice paddies, and vegetable gardens.
One of the highlights of the tour is visiting a local house and chatting with the villagers to understand more about their lives and work. After that, we’ll keep cycling until we arrive at Co Loa Citadel, an ancient citadel that took a long time to construct and is a source of various relics of the Dong Son culture of the Bronze Age.
We’ll make a stop at a local restaurant for lunch before cycling back to Hanoi. On the way back, we’ll stop by a local temple located by the Red River. If we’re lucky, we’ll have a chance to see a unique ceremony of Vietnamese people called “Len Dong” or “Going into a trance”.
We’ll arrive back at the garage at around 4 pm, and you can take a short walk or a taxi back to your accommodation. This tour is a great way to explore Hanoi’s countryside and ancient sites without getting tired, thanks to the electric-assisted bike.
What an incredible experience! The bikes were in great condition, and the guide took us to some hidden gems in Hanoi. I really appreciated the personalized approach. Highly recommended!
