Tan Yen Bac Giang, one of nine rural districts of Bac Giang province is located in the Northeast region of Vietnam, about 2 hours drive from Hanoi. Tan Yen district covers an area of 204 km². It might not be an ideal place for trekking and hiking. But the area offers beautiful off the beaten path road cycling tours which can be arranged for those who like discovering Vietnam countryside and rural villages.
