Overview
The 16 Days Cycling Tour in Uttaranchal is a breathtaking journey through one of India’s most spiritual and scenic regions — Uttarakhand, nestled in the lower Himalayas. Known for its sacred rivers, serene mountains, and lush forests, this tour blends adventure with soulful discovery.
Starting from Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world and gateway to the Himalayas, the route winds through the Garhwal and Kumaon hills, offering panoramic views, thrilling climbs, and serene descents. You’ll cycle alongside the Ganges and Alaknanda Rivers, through cedar and pine forests, and ascend into quiet mountain hamlets where time seems to slow.
Explore hill towns like Chopta, Binsar, Almora, and Kausani, where you’ll enjoy boutique mountain stays, authentic Kumaoni cuisine, and peaceful connections with local communities. The terrain offers moderate to challenging rides, with full support and rest days for yoga, village walks, or temple visits.

Itinerary
Cycling Tour in Uttaranchal and Uttarakhand - 16 Days - The natural beauty of an area comes out when it is very less traveled. The Himalayas are one such place. Come challenge yourself by cycling through the Himalayan valleys and mountains. Here the only sound you’ll hear most of the time is that of the Himalayan river flowing in full force just beside the road. The dramatic picture that is created in front of your eyes during sunset while cycling in the Himalayan valley is worth it.The roads here are in superb condition, thanks to the BRO (Border Roads Organization). But, who would not enjoy a small river crossings along the road? It’s a part of our adventure, isn’t it? Enjoy the unofficial local food of the Himalayas which is Maggi, maybe click a photo with the yaks along the road and meet the sweet and happy people of the Himalayas. Cycling here is truly bliss.
Tour Plan
Arrival at Jim Corbett/Ramnagar, meet and greet with the team, transfer to room, Overnight at Jim Corbett wildlife Resort. The Park established in 1936 as Indias first national park, Corbett is famous for its wide variety of wildlife and its beautiful location. It covers 520 sq. km. on the banks of the Ramganga River in the foothills of the Himalaya. It may seem incongruous for a national park to be named after a famous British hunter-Jim Corbett is best known for his book The man-eaters of Kumaon, and was greatly revered by local people for shooting tigers that had developed a liking for human flesh. More commonly seen wildlife includes wild elephant, langur monkey (black face, long tail), rhesus macaque, peacock, and several types of deer including chital, sambar, hog deer and barking-deer, monitor lizard, wild boar and jackal.
