Itinerary
Laos, Luang Prabang Bike, Elephant & Tad Sae Waterfall Adventure 1 Day | Nam Khan River Valley Bike and Elephant Experience (no riding)
Tour Plan
Meet your guide early morning to get fitted on one of Golden Cycling Tours quality mountain bikes. We’ll ride from the city to our first stop at Wat Pa Phon Phao, a forest temple with a great view of Luang Prabang.
Follow the paved road further through teakwood forests and rice fields along the Nam Khan River to visit the resting spot of Henri Mouhot.
The highlight is an elephant experience in the stunning landscape with a background of jungle-covered mountains and you’ll enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting. Afterward, take a boat ride to visit the Tad Sae Waterfall for a refreshing swim in the rainy season. In dry season you will get to experience Tad Sae and there is usually water in the upper pools for a cooling dip.
After a short return boat ride, continue biking through beautiful scenery on a new path return to Luang Prabang.
Note:
We are working with animals and in their natural environment, so time changes may occur.
The waterfall is dry during February-August
