Overview
A Grand Expedition Along Vietnam’s Glimmering Coast
Embark on the definitive Vietnamese adventure with our 14-Day Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi Coastal Cycling Tour. This is not just a trip across the country; it is a deep-seated exploration of the soul of Vietnam, experienced from the saddle of a bicycle. Over two weeks, you will traverse more than 1,000 kilometers, transitioning from the energetic urban sprawl of Saigon to the ancient, tree-lined boulevards of Hanoi. This itinerary is specifically crafted for those who crave a blend of physical challenge, coastal serenity, and profound cultural discovery.
Your journey begins by heading east to the towering sand dunes of Mui Ne, where the desert meets the sea. From there, we hug the coastline, pedaling along the turquoise waters of Nha Trang, the rugged cliffs of Phu Yen, and the hidden coves of Quy Nhon. This route offers an intimate look at the "Authentic Vietnam"—where you’ll see salt farmers harvesting under the sun, colorful wooden fishing boats returning with the morning catch, and children waving from the gates of rural schools.
As we move into Central Vietnam, the landscape shifts toward heritage. You will navigate the evocative ruins of the My Lai Massacre Memorial, wander the lantern-lit alleys of Hoi An, and conquer the legendary Hai Van Pass—a bucket-list climb for every cyclist. After exploring the imperial splendor of Hue, a nostalgic night train whisks you to the North. Here, the scenery transforms into the dramatic karst landscapes of Ninh Binh and the prehistoric jungles of Cuc Phuong National Park. The grand finale takes you through the industrial pulse of Hai Phong to the rugged beauty of Cat Ba Island, culminating in a celebratory cruise through the mystical limestone towers of Halong Bay. This is the ultimate "slow travel" experience, designed to challenge your limits and leave you with a lifetime of memories.
